Certificate Vocational Programme Work Experience
Our Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme students
from Fifth Year are on work experience this week in an array of exciting
positions throughout the locality and surrounding areas. Programme
co-coordinator Mr. O’Leary, is busy checking in and visiting our students as
they go about their work placements. Work experience is a central
component of the LCVP programme and is always most beneficial and enjoyable for
students. Coláiste Mhuire is indebted to those local employers who continue to
support our school community by providing valuable work placements. We are
delighted that feedback has been so positive with employers commenting on the
caliber of our students. Well done to all concerned!
Mock
Examinations in full swing!
Our mock examinations got into full swing this week for
our Junior Certificate and Leaving Certificate students. Understandably, there
was a nervous energy about the school on Wednesday morning but students in the
realization that they are well prepared, settled and became comfortable within
the minutes of examinations beginning. Good luck to all who sit their exams and
have every confidence and belief in yourself and your abilities!
