LC and JC Parent Teacher Meeting
There was a huge attendance at today's meeting. We would like to thank all who came at such short notice.
Ladies Football
Our U14 ladies football team took on Dunmore Community School in Ballygar today. Dunmore started brightly and were 1-1 to 0-1 ahead after five minutes. It took Coláiste Mhuire a while to settle but once our defense tightened up we began to put pressure on the Dunmore. We led at half time 5-4 to 3-1.
Dunmore started better in the second half and it was score for score for the opening fifteen minutes. Then we got some great points and began to put some distance between the teams. Final score was 7-8 to 4-2 to Coláiste Mhuire. The girls play Headford in their next match on Tuesday 5th November.
1st Yr Activity Day
All of our first year students took part in an activity day with Coláiste an Eachréidh, Athenry in the Mattie McDonagh Centre. This event is organised every year. The two first year groups compete against each other in a number of different sporting activities. A great day was had by all.
