First Year Parent-Teacher Meeting

Our first Parent-Teacher Meeting took place on 23rd September. This was for First Yr parents and it allowed our new parents the opportunity to meet their child's teachers, many for the first time. It was a very well attended evening with an 89% attendance rate.
Parent-Teacher Meetings are hugely important. For parents it is a time to meet with your child’s teacher(s) in a one to one setting. It also lets your child know that you care about their progress and their school. It is a chance to see how your child is getting on in school, where their strengths and weaknesses lie, how they socialise with other children in the classroom, playground, extra curricular activities etc. It is also a chance for our teachers to learn more about your child in order that you can work together for your child’s success.
For our teachers it allows us the chance to support and help our students. It also can be hugely insightful and beneficial to hear a parent's point of view.
If you are unable to attend a Parent-Teacher meeting please contact the school.
